Dr Lucy Rowlands
Dr Susan Jian graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Melbourne in 2014. After completing internship at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, she trained at The Royal Women's Hospital in Parkville and obtained her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG). In 2018 she commenced speciality General Practice training across various clinics in Melbourne. 
Susan has valuable experience in pregnancy and postpartum care, as well as the management of  gynaecological and fertility issues. She is a Shared Care Affiliate of The Royal Women's Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women, Western Health, The Northern Hospital and Werribee Mercy Hospital. Susan is also interested in minor procedures such as Implanon insertion/removal and IUD removal. 
As a General Practitioner, Susan feels privileged to be providing care to individuals and families through long-standing therapeutic relationships. This allows her to tailor her approach to patients as she has a firm understanding of the various circumstances in their lives. She is a strong believer in patient education and counselling to result in lifestyle modification, in order to achieve better clinical outcomes. 
In her spare time, Susan loves spending time with her family, friends and dog. She is a keen freediver and enjoys spearfishing as a sustainable way of catching seafood.
